How does this medication work? What will it do for me?

Bactrim belongs to a class of drugs known asantibiotics, or antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria that cause infections. These infections can be difficult to treat, and antibiotics can do more than just prevent infections.

This medication may decrease the amount of bacteria that cause infections. It will also decrease the amount of time it takes to heal damaged bacteria and prevent them from returning.

The dosage of this medication varies depending on the type of infection it is intended to treat. The most common type is bacterial vaginosis, which is a common skin infection caused by the bacteriaClostridium.

The dosage of this medication is based on your medical condition, age, and response to treatment.

How should I use this medication?

This medication is taken as a tablet, taken twice daily, with or without food. It may take up to 2 weeks before the full benefit of this medication is seen. If the tablet has been taken more than once daily, it is advised not to take this medication.

      What is this medication?

      BACTRIM tablets are used to treat infections in the urinary tract and respiratory tract, including sinusitis, acute otitis media, and chronic bronchitis. BACTRIM belongs to a class of antibiotics called sulfonamides and is part of a group of medications called azoles. BACTRIM works by blocking the production of the bacterial cell wall, which allows the bacteria to survive and multiply. This means that BACTRIM can help to kill the bacteria and prevent the infection from developing.

      What are the side effects of this medication?
